Favorites

Favorites are personal shortcuts which appear in your sidebar. To favorite, select the ⭐ icon in the page header. You can favorite the following: issues, labels, cycles, projects and saved views.

My Issues

The My Issues view is ordered to show you what we think are the most important issues for you to see. View issues that are assigned to you, created by you and that you're subscribed to with the toggle. Issues in your backlog are included. Archived issues are not.
This is the current order you'll see issues:
  • Blocked or blocking
  • Active cycles
  • Future cycles
  • Active issues
  • Backlog issues
Within these categories issues are ordered by priority. My Issues shows issues across all teams so it can only be viewed in a list layout.

Active Issues

View all active issues on your team. Active issues are any issues that are marked under unstarted or started states in your team's workflow. If you're using our default states, these would include To Do, In Progress, and In Review.

Backlog

This include issues marked under backlog status. Our default state for newly created issues is backlog. We view the backlog as the place for new issues and ideas. These are issues that have yet to be prioritized and put on your team's roadmap.
By default you have one backlog workflow status but you can add more of them in team settings (e.g. Icebox). Any issues here will be updated to active (Todo) status if they're moved to a cycle. You can also enable a cycle setting to automate the reverse: if issues are moved out of a cycle, they'll move to the backlog. See cycles under team settings for more information.
ProTip: Quickly create new issues in your current view To create an issue specifically in your current view (e.g. Backlog, Active, etc.) type C or click the + icon at the right end of the status header. The fields will update to match it.

All issues

This view shows all issues under your team which are not archived. It's the ideal view to use when you're looking for an issue but don't know its status or enough information to search for it by name or description. If you have more information, SearchSearch will probably be faster.

Archive

Archive contains all archived issues. They are kept for historical reference and can't be removed. Issue links will still work even if the issue has been archived. To unarchive issues, you can type # while hovering over them in this view. Read more about the Archive and Deleted IssuesArchive and Deleted Issues.

Cycles & Active

Cycles will let you view issues by past, current or future cycles. Read more about CyclesCycles. Active cycle shows you the issues in the current cycle. Use Cmd/Ctrl I or the toggle in the top right to view the cycles sidebar and filter issues further by assignee.
